Web poker has become world acclaimed as of late, with televised events and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, arcs back in reality a bit farther than its television ratings. Over the years several variants on the earliest poker game have been created, including a handful of games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely resembling blackjack than old guard poker, in that the gamblers bet against the casino rather than each other. The winning hands, are the established poker hands. There is no conniving or different types of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up before the croupier declares "No more bets." At that moment, both you and the house and of course every one of the other gamblers attain 5 cards each. Once you have looked at your hand and the bank’s 1st card, you have to in turn make a call wager or accede. The call bet’s amount is on same level to your beginning bet, meaning that the stakes will have increased two fold. Abandoning means that your wager goes instantaneously to the bank. After the bet comes the face off. If the casino doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your bet is returned, with an amount in accordance with the ante. If the bank has a hand with ace/king or better, you win if your hand defeats the dealer’s hand. The bank pays money equal to your original bet and fixed odds on your call wager. These odds are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for two pairs
- three to one for 3 of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- 20-1 for a four of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
