Double-hand Poker is a current game with ancient origins. Founded on the old Chinese domino game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the east with the western in an excellent game for beginner level gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player against the house, not like the majority of other poker games that gamblers wager with other players. By competing against the dealer, beginning players don’t have to worry about other, more experienced players taking their money.

One more Pai Gow benefit is the generally leisurely game play, rookies can take their time and scheme while not having to make hasty selections.

It is also simpler to gamble on for an extended time with basically a tiny bit of cash since, to not win, both of your hands needs to be under both of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the normal 52-card standard deck and a single joker. The gambler is given 7 cards faces showing and the croupier is dealt 7 cards faces hidden.

A 5 card hand and one 2 card hand have to be put together from the 7 cards dealt, the five card hand has to be stronger than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be larger than the dealer’s.
