Double-hand Poker is a current game with old origins. Built on the old Chinese tile game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the far east with the wild west in a fantastic game for beginning level gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player vs. the house, not like the majority of other poker games that gamblers compete with other gamblers. By competing against the dealer, starting players do not need to fret about other, more knowledgeable people taking their $$$$.
An additional Pai Gow benefit is the fairly slow game pace, rookies are able to take their time and scheme without having to make frenzied decisions.
It is also much simpler to enjoy for a long time with only a tiny amount of money after all, to not win, each of your hands has to be lower than each of the casino’s hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the regular 52-card common deck and a single joker. The gambler is given 7 cards face up and the croupier is given seven cards face down.
A 5 card hand and a 2 card hand must be put together from the 7 cards dealt, the 5 card hand must be higher than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand values to be larger than the casino’s.
