Pai Gow Poker is a current game with old ancestry. Founded on the ancient Chinese tile game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the far east with the western in a fantastic game for early level players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player vs. the dealer, unlike nearly all other poker games that gamblers wager against other players. By betting against the dealer, new players don’t need to be concerned about any other, more experienced people winning their $$$$.
Another Pai Gow advantage is the fairly leisurely game play, newcomers should be able to take their time and strategize while not having to make hasty choices.
It’s also much simpler to wager on for an extended time with only a little bit of cash since, to not win, each of your hands has to be lower than both of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the regular 52-card basic deck and a single joker. The gambler is given seven cards faces showing and the croupier receives seven cards face down.
One five card hand and one 2 card hand have to be made from the 7 cards, the 5 card hand has to be better than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be larger than the houses.
