Web poker has become world celebrated recently, with televised events and celebrity poker game shows. Its universal appeal, though, arcs back in fact a bit farther than its TV ratings. Over the years numerous variants on the first poker game have been developed, including some games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these particular games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely related to blackjack than traditional poker, in that the gamblers wager against the casino instead of the other players. The succeeding hands, are the established poker hands. There is no conniving or different kinds of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up before the croupier saying "No further wagers." At that point, both you and the bank and of course all of the other gamblers acquire 5 cards each. After you have observed your hand and the casino’s first card, you need to in turn make a call bet or give up. The call bet’s amount is equal to your original bet, meaning that the risks will have doubled. Giving Up means that your bet goes immediately to the dealer. After the bet comes the face off. If the casino does not have ace/king or greater, your bet is returned, plus an amount in accordance with the initial wager. If the dealer has a hand with ace/king or better, you win if your hand defeats the bank’s hand. The dealer pays out money even with your bet and set expectations on your call bet. These odds are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • two to one for 2 pairs
  • 3-1 for three of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
