Double-hand Poker is a modern game with old ancestry. Built on the old Chinese tile game and the modern American version of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the far east with the wild west in a fantastic game for early level gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player versus the croupier, unlike most other poker games that players compete with other players. By competing against the dealer, beginning players don’t have to worry about other, more skillful players taking their money.

An additional Pai Gow benefit is the relatively slow game play, novices should be able to take their time and scheme without needing to make quick decisions.

It’s also easier to participate in for a very long time with just a small amount of cash since, to lose, both of your hands has to be lower than both of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the normal 52-card basic deck and a single joker. The gambler is assigned 7 cards faces showing and the croupier is given 7 cards faces hidden.

A 5 card hand and a two card hand need to be put together from the seven cards, the 5 card hand has to be stronger than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be larger than the casino’s.
