No Joke, huge amounts of players are trying to be the next "big thing" in poker, but here is a short list of four of the more famous "nice guys" of the game. Although "nice" is connected with their names when you are at a poker table it’s "no more Mr. Nice guy" until they have put you out of the competition!

Daniel Negreanu

In Two Thousand and Four, his tournament payouts amounted to in excess of $4.4 million and he came away with two highly admired awards in the World Series of Poker Player of the Year and Cardplayer Magazine’s Competition Player of the Year. In February 2006 he was chosen Card Player’s Preferred Poker Player. He even still has the decency to speak with his fans about how they might improve their own game.

Howard Lederer

Known as "The Professor" and sibling of fellow poker pro Annie Duke. His achievements have allowed him to make an instructional poker video named "Secrets of No Limit Hold’em" and co hosting a tournament poker show for Fox TV. As of 2005, his complete life time winnings surpass 2.7 million dollars.

Scotty Nguyen

Scotty is one of the busiest players in poker and between Two Thousand to Two Thousand and Four he finished in the money in more than 100 events. He is notorious for saying "yeah baby" during poker games and also coined the phrase "that’s poker baby" when alluding to a exceptionally bad loss. As of 2006, his career winnings are almost six million dollars.

Chris Ferguson

Chris has earned five WSOP titles with two of his wins happening in 2003. Chris has the alias "Jesus" due to his trademark long hair and beard, and is able to throw playing cards quick enough to cut through bananas and pickles. As of Two Thousand and Five his total poker tourney winnings exceeded $5 million.
