Double-hand Poker is a modern game with old origins. Founded on the ancient Chinese tile game and the modern American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the east with the western in a fantastic game for new gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler against the croupier, not like nearly all other poker games that gamblers play with other gamblers. By playing against the dealer, starting players don’t have to be concerned about any other, more knowledgeable gamblers winning their money.

A further Pai Gow advantage is the relatively leisurely game pace, rookies are able to take their time and strategize while not needing to make frenzied selections.

It is also easier to wager on for an extended time with just a small bit of money after all, to not win, each of your hands has to be under both of the houses hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the customary 52-card basic deck and one joker. The gambler is dealt seven cards face up and the house receives 7 cards face down.

One 5 card hand and a two card hand need to be put together from the seven cards, the 5 card hand must be better than the two card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand totals to be larger than the casino’s.
