I’m sure just about everyone who has bet texas holdem poker in the place where they provide booze has had this experience at one time or another. Everyone at the table was definitely nice except for Mr. I am all in simply because I am drunk. He had such a terrible frame of mind and I felt like I was on the net betting in a freeroll for a second because he would just maintain going all in. He’d from time to time just call a bet. Every time he would just call, I knew he had a awful hand.
So, when it was my turn to call, I would raise with my very good pocket pairs or my ace something. Every time he stayed in a hand all the way to the river and then try to bluff. It was virtually as if he wanted to hand out his chips.
I played at that particular table for at least 3 hours and I counted at least four times the man went to the Automatic Teller Machine and came back with at least two hundred dollars in chips. I would say I most likely got a minimum of half of what he delivered to the table.
The following day, after I got home and counted my earnings, I type of felt bad for winning all that cash. But then again, that dude ought not to have been wagering texas hold em poker although he was inebriated!
Some persons might say that if I have to question my activities, then sure, it probably wasn’t the correct thing to do. Except, do I really feel poor about it, not definitely.
My viewpoint on taking a drunken person’s cash at the poker table is that if they’re stupid adequate to bet on even though intoxicated and is being reckless, then go for it!
